Loved this one!!! It made me think of my favorite Cheryl Strayed “Dear Sugar” essay - The Ghost Ship That Didn’t Carry Us (https://therumpus.net/2011/04/21/dear-sugar-the-rumpus-advice-column-71-the-ghost-ship-that-didnt-carry-us/). It considers this theme through the lens of deciding whether or not to have children.

I LOVED the midnight library - one of my first reads this year! It always reminded me to the movie Mr. Nobody (which I highly recommend) which for me can be summed into this quote/lesson from the movie, "Every path is the right path. Everything could've been anything else. And it would have just as much meaning."
